It's the end to our first week of school and we decided to kick start our weekend with a delicious adventure. Setting about four different alarms, I finally got myself to wake up at 7:36 am, in time to get picked up by my girls to go for a hike around 8 am. Bobbing our heads back and forth while listening to some old, but good songs, we final arrived to Cedar Falls. Unexpectedly, after we started walking for about 15 minutes, we couldn't even find a legit hiking trail (or as we like to call a challenge); we then decided to head over to Rattlesnake Ledge.

Rattlesnake Ledge - Washington.
Soaring hills, endless trails, sticky sweat, and rocks that somehow have seem to plummet itself into my boots. Sounds ruthless, right? But let me tell you, what an adventure.

Without any expectations (being that I have never been to this particular hike), my legs definitely got a good workout. After 3.5 miles and a few encounters with adorable dogs, we finally reached the top, and wow was the view breathtaking. Feeling like the lion queen on her pride rock, we had an amazing view of a blue, fresh lake surrounded by endless greens. Luckily, we defeated the fog-which literally reappeared after we left- and took a plethora of photos.
