Not-so-Spendy Spring Break.

Oh, the sun is out, the breeze is here, and I am ready for some Spring Break! I often find myself just lingering around the house, wondering what I could possibly do to enjoy my break. But, at the same time I don't want to spend all my money at once (unless it's a pre-planned tropical vacation). So given that Spring Break is just around the corner, here is an insider guide to some ideas that don't require your wallet to go on a diet!

1.  Go to the Beach
I mean, if you are living in California, you got to make your way down to the beach at least once over break! Nothing feels better than dipping your toes in the warm sand, and swirling your fingers through the waves. Bonus: you get an amazing view, for free!

2.  Have a Picnic at the Park
Whether it be with your family, friends, or with your dog, take advantage of a nice, warm day out in the sun with some of your favorite delights.

3.  Bake some Yummy Desserts or Cook a Meal
I mean who doesn't love dessert? Even if you aren't a baker or an Iron Chef, anyone can easily pick up an ingredient online and start baking. Who knows, maybe your creation might turn out to be the best yet. Maybe even play a little game of Chopped with some friends and family?

4.  Day-time Road Trip
There are always places and cities I still want to go and yet to see - such as drive down to San Diego with the gent. So, no matter where you are, take a day trip down to a place where you've been wanting to go to.

5.  Have a Photo Adventure
My friends and I always crave a good photo adventure. We often just find a random spot on the side of the road or some specific location (after Instagram stalking for awhile). You never know what kind of photos and adventures you'll get. I can tell you this though, I ALWAYS end the day feeling very happy and satisfied.

6.  Arts and Crafts
One of my favorite activities is to just make random stuff including: jewelry, bags, pillows, etc. Have some fun with it.

7.  Color Me Mine
Okay, so maybe this one will cost you little bit more, but you get an unlimited time to paint whatever the heck you want! Usually there is a payment of $10 per person, and whatever item you choose to paint has a specific cost to it too. But the fun, the paint, and the results are worth it.

8. Go Hiking
I absolutely love it when I can combine some of my favorite activities into one. Hiking just has the whole package: a view and exercise. It's a perfect way to just go outside, work those legs, and enjoy nature/life.
